Merry Christmas to all!

Thursday, December 23rd, 2010

Whether you celebrate Christmas, Yule, Channukah, Kwannza, or not, I wish you the best of the season’s well wishes. This holiday season is chock full of various religious events. But whether or not you celebrate any of them, this time of year means more to me.

It means sending well wishes to those you love and those you don’t. To find that nugget of familiarity in the nonfamiliar. To see the threads that are common to all and to cherish those.

For all, regardless of where you live, or how you choose to worship (or even if you do not), the common threads are a wish for peace. For tranquility. For health. For comfort and to be safe. To be free to be the you that you are and to relax in the friendship of loved ones.

I wish all of that for you. Since my faith is Christian, I bestow the happiest greeting we have, “Merry Christmas” on you and yours. Please share this same blessing, in words that are important to you, to those in your circle and allow this season to be one of unification and peace.

See you at the show!

Wild Berry Kiss™ Lip Balm

If you’re in the North Texas area, I just wanted to let you know that this weekend is the LD Bell craft show. LD Bell high school is located in the midcities region at Hwy 183 and Brown Trail. It’s a great show, and this is my 3rd year to be there.

I’m in the band hall…right beside the door.  So if you come, please stop and say ‘hi’. A special gift to everyone who mentions this blog post! Whoo hoo, what could be nicer?

Okay, dark chocolate but I digress…

My new lip balms in Raspberry Lemonade and Vanilla Creme will be introduced. A few new home fragrance scents (Vanilla Lime and Maple Syrup) were introduced a few weeks ago, but if you haven’t smelled them, you’re in for a treat!

This is the grand dame of shows around here, or so I’m told. It isn’t 100% handcraft (which would make it even better!) but everyone comes with totes and leaves with smiles and lighter wallets.

Hope to see you there!

A few of my favorites: jar candles!
