If you love to 'burn' fragrant oil, then please give my fragrance oils a try. Super concentrated oils, they quickly fill a room with aroma. Please follow the tip below for maximum scent. Available in all fragrances, year round, each blue glass bottle contains 1/2oz by volume.
You can also use this fragrance oil to refresh aroma bead sachets that have lost their scent. Follow instructions on the Aroma Bead Sachet for best results.
TIP: You may call it 'burning' oil but in reality, you never want to get this fragrant oil hot enough to smoke. First, when oil smokes, the scent often changes. And not in a good way. I advise following the steps below.
Whether you use an electric, tea light driven, or other method, always start with a clean burning vessel. Fill vessel with warmed water. The fastest way is to quickly warm a small quantity of water (filling the burn vessel less than 50% full). Add a few drops of your desired fragrance to this warmed water. If the scent is not strong enough, add a bit more oil until the scent load is perfect. Add scent in small doses and give it a bit of time between additions.
If using water with oil is new to you, let me explain the reasoning. Water and oil do not mix (unless emulsified together in a lotion). As water heats, it evaporates, taking molecules of the scent with it. The water evaporates below the point where the oil could get too hot and smoke. Not only do you preserve the correct scent, but by using water (rather than straight scented oil) you will also reduce the number of times that you have to thoroughly clean the burn vessel.
