Where I muse about just about everything...
From the weather in Texas, to my kids, pets, travel and friendships. Basically, about life. And oh yeah, about my Coquette Bath & Home™ products, too.
I arrived back in the US on Thursday evening without any issues. Okay, I did get a tad nervous when I realized that I had to go through Customs in Atlanta...given that folks had stated that it would be at least 90 minutes to do that (and I had a 95 minute layover!). But the folks at Customs were amazing (I surely would not have been even slightly as nice to tell someone something (like empty out your pockets) and have them go through and set off the alarms because, yep, they hadn't done that.
But all is well, and I got through the entire thing with about 25 minutes to spare! Super kudos to those hard working folks in Atlanta!
While I was gone, some orders did pile up and all of them shipped out on Saturday. So, life is back to my version of normal. Thought I'd share a few of my favorite photos from my trip...
And the images are, in order, the Elizabeth Tower near Parliament, home of Big Ben (I rather thought the tower was called that, but that's the name, Big Ben, of the actual bell inside!), a fountain at Hyde Park, the interior of the British Museum (not to be missed! AMAZING place), a stained glass window at Salisbury Cathedral, and more from Hyde Park...some of the flowers.
Of course, I did take a lot more photos, but as some of them do contain images of people, and I don't know those folks, I didn't want to inadvertently publish something that could bother someone. I did take all of these, by the way, with my basic camera. And I did try to be 'artistic'. All in all, I think I did a good job, and I have about 750 photos to show for the trip!
Along with a healing blister...lots of walking there!
A great trip. And I will return. But for now, it is a blessing to sleep in my bed and be back to my normal world. Hope yours is amazing.
