Where I muse about just about everything...
From the weather in Texas, to my kids, pets, travel and friendships. Basically, about life. And oh yeah, about my Coquette Bath & Home™ products, too.
One thing about living in Texas is that springtime is always a variable. We know it will 'kinda' fall in the first quarter of the year, or at least start, but we're never entirely sure when it will come (and when it will be just a sweet memory) prior to the intense summertime heat.
Spring, this year, does seem to be a bit earlier than normal. Bluebonnets are lining the sides of Texas highways, mingled with touches of orange red paintbrush and the soft pink of the wine cups. A sprinkling of other wildflowers, too. But it is the bluebonnets that really makes the scene. Intensely, gorgeously, blue.
I don't have a photo from this year, but a few years back we had this little doggie, Etta. And we posed her in the midst of some of the blueness.
Imagine fields of that along the side of the road and you have some inkling of the beauty that is Texas in the spring. Especially as dusk falls, the color is just glorious.
But it may not be spring where you are. In fact, you could be weeks to months away from soft green grass. If so, know that it is coming. And in the meantime, I've introduced 7 new scents in my wax melts, to help ease the transition from cold to warm. Already listed both here, on my main site, at www.coquettebath.com and in my Etsy shop (CoquetteBath). Soon to come, as well, to Amazon.
Just 7 of many to choose from. Have fun, y'all.
