Where I muse about just about everything...
From the weather in Texas, to my kids, pets, travel and friendships. Basically, about life. And oh yeah, about my Coquette Bath & Home™ products, too.
Today, I edited photos. Yes, I did finally take them, and part of the reason (or so I'm telling myself) that I've hated it so much is that the camera was wonky. Yes, this is the same camera that I took to the UK, but I have to feel blessed that it made it that long.
Cause the battery was on its last legs, apparently. I did check to get a new battery. $40. And for $53, on sale, I got a brand new camera. 16megapixel and so far, it and I have been getting along okay.
Here's 3 of my newest soaps. All limited edition, of course. This is how I play a bit. From left to right...Citrus Stripe. Flora and Pink Grapefruit.
Soap is a pretty intense addiction, actually. I have been known to dream about making it and figuring out cool new ways to showcase its bubblyness. All taken with the new camera, and very minimal editing.
I hope this is the start of a beautiful friendship!
HELLO! Is it HOT there, too?
Yikes...summertime in Texas. Never a moment that isn't just destined to mess with your makeup. Seriously, you can leave home at 6am (and I do, daily) and by the time you slide behind a desk or get to where you are going...you already feel like another bath would be a very good idea.
Except you can't. Not yet. And therefore...DRAT!
Today, was just one of those days. Actually, this weekend, was, too. Our new kitty, Louie, had to go to the vet. And since he didn't do too well, the first night, they kept him for #2. Now, he's curled up by my feet...poor fella. I think he's just glad to be home. And while I really didn't want to do it, both Ms. Chloe (Senior catus emeritus) and my carpets and chairs are going to be thankful that those scimitars that Louie called 'mere claws' are no longer weapons of evil.
seriously...I remember hearing that 'fur flew' when cats fought. But I never saw it until Louie decided to try to upstage Ms. Chloe in the 'who's the boss' competition. Tufts of black floated in the air. And Chloe was none too pleased.
Like usual, my photo skills leave something to be desired, but...here's a quick snap...
He is a pretty boy, isn't he? I like to prop up my feet on this blue tote...and as you can see, he has decided that it is where he is going to rest.
Well, it is HOT outside, but right now, sitting in the coolness...it is time to take a breather and just relax. Hope your day is wonderful!
